Immensus Associates applauds the launch of Leeds skills centre for retail and hospitality staff

With news that a centre is being launched in Leeds later this month with the mission to boost skills among the city’s retail and hospitality workers, direct marketing specialists and supporters of up-skilling, Immensus Associates is applauding the program.

Ambition: Leeds has been set up with the objective to provide retail and hospitality training - in response to the recruitment, training and development needs of employers in those sectors. The focus of the project is to address issues such as employee retention, creating progression opportunities and keeping up with industry trends. Crucially, the training will be delivered by experienced tutors. In the Leeds BID area alone, there are 1,700 businesses in the retail and hospitality sectors.
