Press release -

Meet local author Paul Jenkins at Ramsbottom Library

Local author Paul Jenkins will be reading from his latest novel “Requires Improvement” at Ramsbottom Library on Monday 27 June.

This is the tale of Jim Tovey, drama teacher extraordinaire. It casts a satirical eye over teaching in the 21st Century and takes the reader on one man's journey through the school year, giving a glimpse into what goes on behind the school gates and hopefully answering that timeless question: "Why do the teachers always look so tired?"

Paul will also speak about his experiences of self-publishing through Kickstarter funding.

The event starts at 7.30pm, and tickets £3 including refreshments. To book, call Ramsbottom Library on 0161 253 5352.
