Press release -

Reader, meet authors!

Crime and the countryside are the subjects of two very different ‘meet the author’ nights at Ramsbottom Library and Adult Learning Centre.

The first event is on Monday 3 March when local author Nick Oldham will talk about his books. These are dark, police-based crime stories set in the north west of England with main character Henry Christie.

The second is on Thursday 27 March when author Nick Burton will take you through “Wainwright's Way” - a long-distance verbal walk of Alfred Wainwright's life, from Blackburn to Haystacks and the countryside he loved.

Tickets for each event are £3 for library members and £5 for non-members, and include refreshments. Buy a ticket from the library, or book by calling 0161 253 5352 or emailing Ramsbottom.lib@bury.gov.uk
