The municipality of Östra Göinge trains their Lean-coaches

To fulfil their Vision 2015 ("15.000 proud Göingar") the municipality of Östra Göinge are running a project called "GoingeLean". A part of that project is to make their Lean-coaches certified ICF-coaches as well. The over-all mission of the project GoingeLean is to increase the competencies in the entire municipality through increased competence among co-workers, leaders, managers and elected. In that way the organization will become a sustainable and learning environment based on continuous improvements.

In order to be even more efficient in GoingeLean, the municipality decided to train the project-members to become certified coaches (based on International Coach Federation, ICF).

"We will also be offering support based on professional coaching to managers and other leading positions, starting after the summer of 2012", says Åsa Björklund, project manager in GoingeLean.
"Keyword in our operation will be the sustainability of both the organization and the project, which we want to ensure with the coaching methods".
