Winners of the Self Service Awards 2013

This evening, the winners of the Self Service Awards were announced at Cirkus, Kungliga Djurgården in Stockholm. The Self Service Awards is an annual event to recognise those companies and organisations that have had the most success in supporting and rationalising support work with the aid of ComAround's web-based self-service solution.

Prizes were presented in the categories of Newcomer of the Year, Migration of the Year, Strategic Support of the Year and Self Service Star of the Year.
We are delighted to be able to present this year's winners, and thank everyone for an amazing celebration at Cirkus this evening.

Newcomer of the Year

As winner in the category "Newcomer of the Year" the jury has namned an organisation which, got off to a flying start with using both ComAround's support guides and its own. This company has managed to create a high level of accessibility thanks to self service within a geographically widespread organisation.

The winner has a well thought-out strategy for passing on Best Practice within the organisation and for constantly enhancing the level of knowledge of all its users in the field of IT and other important areas. Our Newcomer of the Year had a unique ability to rapidly adopt and utilise all the opportunities offered by the self service concept, so leading to fast, positive results.

Migration of the Year

The jury has decided upon a winner in the "Migration of the Year" category; for well executed migration work in connection with the transition to Windows 7, Office 2010 and Outlook 2010. Self service was used to make things easier for users, giving them a smooth transition to the new platform.

In particular, the panel of judges wishes to highlight the high level of usage and resolution rate that distinguish this year's winner, and the importance of the potential of self service when it comes to making things easier for users when migrating to new IT solutions. Focusing on the right things, such as standard workstation support and migration-specific content, means that this company has managed to create outstanding results among all municipalities involved. Migration of the Year is a result of a successful cooperation between a number of municipalities and demonstrated the power of collective self service for clients with stringent demands.

As winner in the category "Strategic Support of the Year" the jury has namned an organisation which, utilises the full potential of ComAround's self service options. Great emphasis is placed on both information and training, and users now have access to hundreds of text and video guides which are constantly smashing records in terms of the number of views. Great responsiveness to the business and what is demanded, combined with strong focus on creating video and film support, has become a success.

The panel of judges would also like to highlight the importance of the winner's successful marketing of self service and its high level of usage of the service, so freeing up time for manual support and helping users with more complicated incidents.

This year's winner has a well thought-out, consistent strategy in order to meet new needs, so ensuring that all users will continue to benefit greatly.
