Leopard print is always in – certainly on the world’s safest protection for cyclists

With the cycling season in full swing and cyclists wanting to look as trendy as anyone else, the Leopard cover for Hövding’s airbag for cyclists is hitting all the right style notes. Leopard print is a perennial favourite that never goes out of fashion.

Hövding’s “Leopard” cover is draped like a scarf, turning the Hövding into an on-point accessory, even though the leopard print pattern conceals the world’s safest head protection for cyclists, with an airbag that inflates in 0.1 seconds in the event of an accident.

“Although Hövding is, above all, a safety product offering the world’s best head protection for cyclists, we also want cyclists to be able to express their own personal style when they’re out on their bikes. The leopard print cover is both classic and trendy, so you can’t go wrong,” says Stina Malmros, Pattern Technician at Hövding, who works on developing the covers.

Designed to look like a scarf, the “Leopard” has reflective black lines. The cover is made from a blend of cotton, polyester and elastane. The little twist to the fabric creates a soft silhouette of a knot and adds a touch of extra volume.

The covers available for the Hövding are designed so that the inner part goes up under the chin to protect the collar from sweat and for extra comfort in relation to the front zips. The covers work with the Hövding 3 and don’t need to be removed for charging.

The recommended retail price for the Leopard cover is € 50
