SAS FLIGHTS FROM LONDON HEATHROW TO SCANDINAVIAN MOUNTAINS AIPORT FOR WINTER 2020/21 GO ON SALE TODAY

Starting today (February 20), SAS is launching tickets to Sweden and Norway’s largest ski resorts, Sälen and Trysil, for Winter 2020/2021. Direct flights from London Heathrow to Scandinavian Mountains Airport will operate from December 26 2020 to April 3 2021. Accommodation is also bookable at skistar.com.

SAS is continuing to fly their most modern aircraft, the Airbus A320neo, which means a lower impact on the environment and significantly lower noise levels.

"We are working hard and objectively to make our impact on the environment as little as possible," says Gunnar Lenman, CEO of Scandinavian Mountains Airport.

"At Scandinavian Mountains Airport, we are proud to collaborate with SAS, who are at the forefront of development with their state-of-the-art aircraft fleet."

Mathias Lindström, SkiStar's Sales & Marketing Director, says: "The fact that SAS is continuing to fly to Sälen-Trysil and has already released tickets for the next winter season is proof that there is a strong attraction for Brits to visit our Scandinavian ski resorts in Sälen and Trysil."

"We are pleased to have started and are looking forward to flying to Sälen / Trysil from the United Kingdom again next winter, says says Freja Annamatz, Press Officer SAS. "Short travel times and an attractive timetable in combination with fantastic opportunities to ski in the Swedish and Norwegian mountains are something that hopefully continue to attract many Britons."
