    The 2011 Formula Student Competition has a record eight TeXtreme® sponsored teams competing with TeXtreme® reinforced race cars. These race cars have benefitted from crucial weight savings and improved performance enabled through use of TeXtreme® Spread Tow Fabrics.

  • TeXtreme® clinches another Stanley Cup

    Boston Bruins on the 16th of June won the seventh and final game of the match series with 4-0. Bauer athlete Brad Merchant scored two goals using a Bauer stick featuring TeXtreme®, among others the fourth and final goal.

  • Formula Student victories at Hockenheim

    The 2011 Formula Student competition in Germany, held at the Hockenheim circuit took place between 2-7th of August. In total there were six TeXtreme® reinforced cars competing in the combustion competition, and two teams in the electric competition.

  • Formula Student victories

    TeXtreme® reinforced cars performed well at the 2011 Formula Student competitions at the Silverstone circuit, getting a number of awards.

  • TeXtreme® thermoplastic variant in Rinspeed project

    TeXtreme® has been used in some parts for the BamBoo concept car, the latest Rinspeed project. Bamboo partner Ticona has in the project cooperated with Oxeon in developing composite reinforcements for the car. Oxeon used Ticona’s Celstran® tapes to produce a thermoplastic variant of TeXtreme® fabric by utilizing their proprietary Tape Weaving Technology.
