Havila Voyages is Food Saver of the Year
During the Q Food Saver Day on Wednesday, June 5th, Havila Voyages was named Food Saver of the Year 2024 for the work done to reduce food waste on board their coastal cruise ships.

On Monday, the coastal cruise ship Havila Pollux was named at Bryggen in Bergen by godmother Erna Solberg, former Prime Minister of Norway. "A very beautiful ship," says Solberg after the naming ceremony.
Havila Voyages has promoted Matthew Valentine to a new Global Head of Sales role, reporting to Johanna Hansli, Chief Sales Officer.
Unfortunately, Havila Pollux must cancel the round trip scheduled to start from Bergen on Monday, May 13. The naming ceremony the same day will go as planned.
Havila Voyages took first place in the "Sustainability" category at this year's "Fair Play Awards" organized by the "Cruise Initiative" sales association in Hamburg. The award honors shipping companies that have distinguished themselves through particularly cooperative and transparent collaboration with sales partners and tour operators.
Due to a storm warning with gusts of up to hurricane force in Hustadvika on Saturday, the coastal route ship Havila Pollux cancels the sailing Trondheim - Bergen - Trondheim. Havila Capella also cancels parts of its northbound route.
