Knapp 5.000 m2 Vermietungen im „Der Clou“ in Berlin-Reinickendorf: Aroundtown führt Revitalisierung des Nahversorgungszentrums am Kurt-Schumacher-Platz fort

Ankermieter REWE verlängert seinen Mietvertrag bis 2044 und erweitert seine Fläche – gleichzeitig markiert der Einzug von FitX bis 2041 den Startschuss für Aroundtowns Neuausrichtung von „Der Clou“.

Die Revitalisierung des ehemaligen Einkaufszentrums zum Nahversorgungszentrum „Der Clou“ hat begonnen. Aroundtown richtet „Der Clou“ neu aus, um einen Sammelpunkt der Nachbarschaft und der Gemeinschaft zu kreieren. REWE erweitert seine Flächen und hat sich bis 2044 verpflichtet, einen bedeutenden Teil des „Der Clou“ zu bilden. Mit FitX wird das Dienstleistungsangebot langfristig für 15 Jahre erweitert.

Mit der Flächenerweiterung des REWE-Marktes auf rund 2.400 m² hat Aroundtown einen wichtigen Meilenstein für „Der Clou“ erzielen können. Der Mietvertrag des langjährigen Ankermieters REWE wird bis 2044 verlängert. Die Übergabe der Erweiterungsfläche ist für Sommer 2027 vorgesehen. Im Anschluss wird mit dem Ausbau sowie der Modernisierung des gesamten REWE-Marktes begonnen.

Mit FitX wird das Dienstleistungskonzept um ein Sportangebot erweitert: Auf rund 2.300 m² können sich Fitnessbegeisterte bald sportlich verausgaben. Der Mietvertrag wurde für 15 Jahre geschlossen, somit erweitert FitX sein Angebot in Berlin langfristig um ein weiteres Studio. FitX betreibt bereits 13 Studios in Berlin; bald auch im Schillerpark-Center in Wedding, das ebenfalls zum Portfolio von Aroundtown gehört. Der neue Standort am Kurt-Schumacher-Damm soll noch in 2026 an FitX übergeben werden.

Durch das neue Schumacher-Quartier auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Flughafens Tegel sollen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft über 5.000 Wohnungen für mehr als 10.000 Menschen entstehen. Around 5,000 sqm of lettings at “Der Clou” in Berlin-Reinickendorf: Aroundtown continues the revitalization of the neighborhood retail center at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz

Anchor tenant REWE extends its lease until 2044 and expands its space – at the same time, FitX’s new lease until 2041 marks the starting point for Aroundtown’s repositioning of “Der Clou”.

The revitalization of the former shopping center into the neighborhoodretail center “Der Clou” has begun. Aroundtown is repositioning “Der Clou” to create a focal point for the neighborhood and the local community. REWE is expanding its premises and has committed until 2044 to form a significant part of “Der Clou”. With FitX, the range of services will be expanded for the long term over a period of 15 years.

With the expansion of the REWE supermarket to around 2,400 sqm, Aroundtown has achieved an important milestone for “Der Clou”. The lease of the long-standing anchor tenant REWE has been extended until 2044. Handover of the additional space is scheduled for summer 2027. This will be followed by the fit-out and modernization of the entire REWE store.

FitX will expand the service concept by adding a sports and fitness offering: on around 2,300 sqm, fitness enthusiasts will soon be able to work out. The lease has been concluded for 15 years and FitX is expanding its presence in Berlin with another studio. FitX already operates 13 studios in Berlin; soon also at the Schillerpark Center in Wedding, which is part of Aroundtown’s portfolio. The new location at Kurt-Schumacher-Damm is scheduled to be handed over to FitX in 2026.

“Der Clou” at Kurt-Schumacher-Damm 1–15 is an established neighborhood retail center and a central meeting point at the transport hub of Kurt-Schumacher-Platz in Berlin-Reinickendorf. Thanks to direct access to subway line U6, numerous bus lines and an on-site parking garage with around 500 parking spaces, the center is easily accessible both by public transport and by car. As part of the new Schumacher Quartier on the site of the former Tegel Airport, more than 5,000 apartments for over 10,000 people are planned in the immediate vicinity. In addition, the “Urban Tech Republic” is being developed on 3.4 hectares as a new research and industrial park, which will make the location even more vibrant and attractive.
