Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt „Mut Kidz e.V.“ in Jena bei der Durchführung eines Feriencamps in den Sommerferien
Die Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt den „Mut Kidz e.V.“ in Jena mit finanziellen Mitteln und ermöglicht damit die Durchführung eines vier-wöchigen Feriencamps in den Sommerferien (Juli/August) für 14 Kinder. Die finanzielle Hilfe wird für Honorare, Raummiete, Verpflegung, Eintrittsgelder und Beförderungskosten, Material sowie Sitz- und Spielequipment verwendet. Das Angebot findet täglich Montag-Freitag von 9-16 Uhr statt. Jedes Kind erhält täglich eine warme Mahlzeit, sowie Obst und Getränke. In der Tagesgestaltung finden kreative und handwerkliche Projekte ihren Platz, aber auch die Vermittlung von gesundheitsrelevanten Themen wie Bewegung, Entspannung und Ernährung. Geplant sind zudem Ausflüge in die regional angebotenen kulturellen Einrichtungen, wo den Kindern entsprechendes Wissen vermittelt wird.
Aroundtown Foundation unterstützt dieses Projekt gern, da die starken Beschränkungen der Pandemie insbesondere bei Kindern und Jugendlichen zu seelischen und körperlichen Belastungen geführt haben. Die Kinder und Jugendlichen sowie deren Familien benötigen besondere Unterstützung, damit die Pandemie nicht lange nachwirkt und Ungleichheiten nicht manifestiert werden.
Mut Kidz e.V. fördert als gemeinnütziger Verein die Kinder- und Jugendhilfe in der deutschen Universitätsstadt Jena. Der Verein verfolgt das Ziel, dass sich Kinder und Jugendliche als naturverbundene, selbstbewusste, ehrliche und freidenkende Kinder und Jugendliche entwickeln können. So unterstützt und entwickelt er Maßnahmen und Angebote, um die Kinder und Jugendlichen entsprechend ihrer Entwicklung dazu befähigen, bewusst und selbstbestimmt ihr Leben zu gestalten. Neben der Förderung der natürlichen Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten der Kinder und Jugendlichen, liegt ein besonderes Augenmerk auf der Präventionsarbeit, zum Schutz vor Ausgrenzung, Diskriminierung und Gewalt jeglicher Art. Das Feriencamp soll insbesondere Kinder und Jugendlich aus sozial schwachen Familien dabei helfen bzw. auch unterstützen.

Aroundtown Foundation supports "Mut Kidz e.V." in Jena to run a vacation camp during the summer holidays
The Aroundtown Foundation supports "Mut Kidz e.V." in Jena with financial means and thus enables the realization of a four-week vacation camp during the summer vacations (July/August) for 14 children. The financial aid will be used for fees, room rent, catering, entrance fees and transportation costs, material as well as seating and playing equipment. The program takes place daily Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. Each child receives a warm meal daily, as well as fruit and drinks. The daily program includes creative and handicraft projects, as well as health-related topics such as exercise, relaxation and nutrition. In addition, excursions to the region's cultural institutions are planned, where the children are taught the relevant knowledge.
Aroundtown Foundation is happy to support this project, as the severe restrictions of the pandemic have led to mental and physical stress, especially among children and young people. The children and young people, as well as their families, need special support so that the pandemic does not linger long and inequalities are not manifested.
As a non-profit association, Mut Kidz e.V. promotes child and youth welfare in the German university town of Jena. The association pursues the goal that children and young people can develop as nature-loving, self-confident, honest and free-thinking children and young people. Thus, it supports and develops measures and offers in order to enable the children and adolescents to shape their lives consciously and self-determinedly according to their development. In addition to promoting the children's and young people's natural abilities and skills, special attention is paid to prevention work to protect against exclusion, discrimination and violence of any kind. The summer camp is intended to help and support children and young people from socially disadvantaged families in particular.
