Big event for all Aon employees – Empowerment Results Day

On 23 March 2017, all Aon employees gathered to learn more about themselves and their colleagues – the departments in Kolding and Aarhus participated via video. Among other things, the day included many interesting presentations on health in the workplace, pension and one of today’s largest threats – cyber hacking.

The purpose of the day

Aon has arranged this Empowerment Results Day to give employees across the departments the opportunity to define common goals. Furthermore, Aon wants to create a stronger employee network, increase knowledge about health in the workplace, and help design individual career plans.

An active day

The various departments were quiet, while the canteen was filled with chatter and the atmosphere was positive. The positive atmosphere only became better when the first presentation on health in office environments got all employees off their seats to carry out joint activities, which everyone can benefit from doing in the small breaks during the working day.

When the joint activities were finished, the employees were free to choose whether they wanted to attend a presentation on stress, pension or personal career. Everyone gathered again for the “Cyber hacking” presentation, where we learned more about the importance of computer security. Lack of security may have fatal consequences.
