Crayfish at the Veranda

According to tradition, the month of August means crayfish and crayfish parties in Sweden. At the Grand Hôtel, we naturally honour this custom. On August 13, a colourful crayfish buffet is being served up at the Veranda restaurant.

The festive table will be set with freshly cooked Swedish signal crayfish, as well as a cheese platter, salads, Jansson’s Temptation and Chanterelle crêpes. On the dessert buffet is a fruit pastry with Swedish berries, whipped cream and vanilla ice-cream.

Crayfish can also be enjoyed after August 13. From August 14 -23, a four-course crayfish supper will be served at the Veranda, with a starter of signal crayfish and chanterelle soup, a main course of grilled pike perch in a buttery-crayfish broth, and a delicious dark chocolate terrine dessert with crème fraîche ice-cream.
