Grand Hôtel lights up Blasieholmskajen with a sunny element from the French and Italian Riviera

Fresh seafood dishes and delicious salads are the focus when Grand Hôtel Stockholm opens a new restaurant. Now Grand Soleil opens its doors and invites guests to Stockholm's most sunny destination, where the warmth and atmosphere of the French and Italian Riviera permeates every moment.

With 120 indoor and outdoor seats, Grand Soleil is the perfect place to enjoy long summer days and cosy evenings. The Grand Hôtel's kitchen team, together with Mathias Dahlgren, has created a concept where seafood and salads take centre stage for lunch and dinner.

"At Grand Soleil, we place great emphasis on our ingredients and our menu is carefully designed to offer guests an authentic taste of the Riviera while taking advantage of Stockholm's best spot to enjoy the sun. Our restaurant environment is carefully designed to give our guests a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere where they can enjoy the best of the Riviera," says Karl Persson, Food & Beverage Manager at Grand Hôtel Stockholm.

Grand Soleil is not just a restaurant, it is also a tribute to the glamorous Riviera and the sunny aesthetic of the coast. The interior is carefully designed with shades of green and yellow that reflect the lushness of nature and the sun's rays.

Sanna Nathanson, Interior Designer, describes the creation of Grand Soleil: "We have created an inviting environment where Mediterranean tones in different shades of green play a central role. By combining natural materials with playful elements in these colours, we have created an atmosphere that gives guests the feeling of a lovely Riviera resort in the heart of Stockholm."

Located along one of Stockholm's most attractive waterfronts, Grand Soleil aims to stimulate visitors to Blasieholmen all year round.

Pia Djupmark, CEO of Grand Hôtel Stockholm, shares her hopes: "We look forward to continuing to ensure that Grand Hôtel as a destination contributes to the vibrancy of Stockholm and Blasieholmen. By introducing Grand Soleil, we will light up Blasieholmskajen even during the darker times of the year and make this fantastic waterfront sunny regardless of the season."

During the summer, Grand Soleil will be open between 11:30 and 22:00. Behind the interior design concept is Sanna Nathanson and her team at the newly launched Studio Ramson.
