Mathias Dahlgren's dining room and food bar retains Michelin-star status

Today it was announced that Mathias Dahlgren’s Matsalen restaurant at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm has retained its two-Michelin-star status, strengthening its position as one of Sweden’s and the Nordic region’s leading restaurants.

In this year’s Michelin Guide, Mathias Dahlgren’s Matsalen and Matbaren were once again awarded two and one stars, respectively.

“I am incredibly proud of what we do and maintaining this status means that we can confidently continue working with what we believe in,” said Mathias Dahlgren, CEO and Creative Director, Mathias Dahlgren restaurants.

“The Grand Hôtel and Mathias Dahlgren share the same high level of ambition for quality and service, so we are naturally delighted that both Matsalen and Matbaren continue to receive such distinction from the prestigious Michelin Guide,” said Marie-Louise Kjellström, CEO, Grand Hôtel.
