The Terrace at the Grand Hôtel welcomes the summer season
It’s finally time for the Grand Hôtel’s summer terrace to set up the parasols and open up for the season. With a fantastic location right on the Stockholm waterfront, the Terrace offers refreshing drinks, a well-composed menu and great mood music.
The Terrace at the Grand Hôtel offers an unbeatable view of the Royal Castle. This expansive outdoor area is inspired by the Swedish summer, with hints of lilac hydrangea, white flowering solanum and sycamore 'Brilliantissimum'.
This year the menu has been updated, now including new summer-inspired dishes such as whole grilled perch, halloumi with watermelon and grilled entrecote. The menu also contains smaller dishes and snacks like calamari fritti, tartar of beef topside and french fries with aioli. A plat du jour is also served at lunch. For those who simply wish to sip a refreshing drink in the sun, the bar serves everything from Champagne, wine and beer to hand-crafted cocktails, as well as alcohol free alternatives.
”The Terrace is the optimal place to enjoy glorious summer days and get together over a refreshing drink or a delectable dinner, daytime or night. This year, we have also expanded our lounge section, as we noticed it was in high demand among our guests,” says Pia Djupmark, CEO, Grand Hôtel.
The Terrace, located 50 metres to the right of the Grand Hôtel’s main entrance, will be open seven days a week from lunch until 10pm.
