Condé Nast Traveler names Grand Hôtel Stockholm the leading hotel in the Nordics on the Gold List 2026
In the 2026 edition of the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List, Grand Hôtel Stockholm is included as the only Nordic representative. The Gold List is Condé Nast Traveler’s annual editorial selection in which editors and writers highlight their personal favorites among hotels and resorts around the world. The list features destinations that stand out for exceptional quality and first-class service, creating memorable experiences that linger long after the stay.
For more than 30 years, the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List has brought together the world’s finest hotels, resorts, and destinations—places the editorial team themselves return to and regard as personal favorites. As one of the industry’s most prestigious accolades, the list reflects the editors’ carefully curated recommendations and serves as a guide to unique experiences worldwide. In the 2026 list, Grand Hôtel Stockholm stands out as the only Nordic destination.
“Being included on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List is one of the most prestigious recognitions in our industry, and we are immensely proud that Grand Hôtel is among the editors’ personal favorites worldwide. Being the only hotel from the Nordics makes this recognition even more meaningful. It is a testament to our long-term commitment to delivering outstanding service, genuine craftsmanship, and experiences that stay with guests long after they have left us”, says Pia Djupmark, CEO Grand Hôtel Stockholm.
This year’s list is the result of a global editorial effort, with Condé Nast Traveler teams from, among others, Germany, India, Spain, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, and the United States jointly selecting the best hotels, resorts, and destinations for 2026.
The Condé Nast Traveler Gold List 2026 is published in full on Condé Nast Traveler’s website at cntraveler.com.
