At the Gala SPA AWARDS 2015, Grand Hôtel Nordic Spa & Fitness was awarded the prestigious World’s Most Innovative Spa accolade. Grand Hôtel won over three other nominated spa facilities, and was the only Swedish spa to be nominated this year.

Germany’s leading women’s magazine, Gala, awards prizes on an annual basis to the world’s best spa facilities. At this year’s SPA AWARDS, the Grand Hôtel Nordic Spa & Fitness won the World’s Most Innovative Spa award, on the following grounds: “The Grand Hôtel spa concept has a consistent holistic and natural approach, with a distinct Nordic touch. They also have the best therapists and specialists in beauty, health, fitness and healing.”

On location from the Grand Hôtel to accept the award, which was presented in Baden-Baden on March 21, was Camilla Garcia, Spa Manager. The objective of the Gala SPA AWARDS is to provide a mark of quality and highlight spa facilities around the world that offer guests a groundbreaking experience.

Grand Hôtel Nordic Spa & Fitness won over three other nominated spa facilities in the “Innovative Spa Concepts” category.

“We are proud that our outstanding spa is garnering international acclaim. We will continue to work in the same innovative direction, offering our guests a spa experience that they cannot find anywhere else in the world,” said Pia Djupmark, CEO Grand Hôtel.

The Gala SPA AWARDS is among the most important international beauty and spa awards. The winners must impress the jury with inspiring innovation and top performance. Nominations are selected from among spas in 34 countries.
