Press release -
Grand Hôtel Stockholm Partners with Nordic Angels
Grand Hôtel Stockholm has entered into a partnership with Nordic Angels, the network that brings together the Nordic region’s most influential business angels. The partnership means that Grand Hôtel will become a Category Partner for the Angel Prize, as well as engage in exclusive collaborations with the Nordic Angels network and on its digital platforms. Through the partnership, Grand Hôtel strengthens its position as a meeting place for international trade, entrepreneurship, and innovation – fully in line with the hotel’s heritage and vision for the future.
Nordic Angels was founded in 2020 by Ash Pournouri and Andreas Grape with the aim of bringing together private capital in the region and creating a digital platform for business angels focused on capital, competence, and community. The network, which requires a personal invitation, is today the largest investor network in the Nordics and has become a central hub for business angels in the region.
“When Régis Cadier opened Grand Hôtel in 1874, his ambition was to create a meeting place for international trade. That idea still lives on today. Through our close ties to the Wallenberg ecosystem, we also share the vision of supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. The partnership with Nordic Angels is a natural extension of this – where today’s leaders meet tomorrow’s entrepreneurs to drive progress forward together”, says Pia Djupmark, CEO of Grand Hôtel Stockholm.
“We know our members expect the highest quality in everything we do. That is why it feels absolutely right to now deepen our longstanding collaboration and at the same time take the Angel Prize to the next level – an exclusive meeting place for those who support the region’s entrepreneurs and innovators”, says Andreas Grape, CEO of Nordic Angels.
“The future of the Nordics requires us to jointly face the challenges of rapid technological development, security, and upgraded infrastructure. That means we must come together and collaborate across borders to create solutions”, says Ash Pournouri, active Chairman of Nordic Angels.
The partnership with Nordic Angels further strengthens Grand Hôtel’s role as a natural meeting place for ideas and influence. With the Polar Music Prize, Brilliant Minds, and now Nordic Angels, Grand Hôtel unites culture, innovation, and business under one roof, reinforcing its unique position in the Nordic region.
