Mathias Dahlgren & Grand Hôtel celebrates success in Falstaff Nordic Restaurant Guide

Stockholm, 5 March 2024. Mathias Dahlgren has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement of the Year Award in the Falstaff Nordic Restaurant Guide Sweden. The guide covers Sweden's 110 best restaurants, with three of Grand Hôtel's restaurants, Seafood Gastro, Matbaren and Grand Soleil, receiving high scores.

Today, Falstaff Nordic reveals the results of its comprehensive restaurant guide ranking Swedish restaurants and honouring key people in the industry. Mathias Dahlgren is awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement of the Year Award. Falstaff Nordic's motivation reads: "Mathias Dahlgren has been a leading force in Sweden for almost 30 years. He is not only a brilliant chef, but also a fantastic inspiration, leader and role model. Although he has received both praise and criticism during his career, he continues to courageously and curiously go his own way - and light up the country's culinary sky."

The Falstaff Nordic Restaurant Guide Sweden ranks a total of 110 restaurants. In joint third place, Seafood Gastro is awarded 95 points out of 100 possible. The newly opened Seafood Gastro, signed by Mathias Dahlgren, is thus rewarded with the highest possible rating, four forks. Matbaren and Grand Soleil are each awarded three and two forks with 92 and 89 points respectively.
