Co-Creation Workshop in Helsinki, supported by Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center

Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia (HHHCCE) participated at the Haaga-Helia International Co-Creation Workshop in Helsinki held during October 5-8.

The event was a Haaga-Helia international cooperation management initiative, bringing together a dozen of different Haaga-Helia global partners. Some of the represented countries were China, SingaporeMalaysia (with two different partners), Indonesia, BahrainBelgium, UK, Greece and Botswana. The main goal of the seminar was to create a shared space of dialogue for diverse parties, in order to jointly produce a mutually valued outcome related to Haaga-Helia’s global expansion mission.

Haaga-Helia's most relevant projects were discussed, and some of its experts delivered presentations about their tasks in these particular ventures. Cases like the former Experience and Wellness Management bachelor's program, presented by Dr. Mário Passos-Ascencao; or the Productization of Education: How do new trends affect the evolution of education?, presented by Dr. Pasi Tuominen

HHHCCE was represented by Ain Hinsberg, who also moderated the hospitality and tourism field related seminars and workshops during two days.

  • Haaga-Helia launches Hospitality Short Courses on Estonian market

    After launching its first content activity – the Hospitality Insiders Club on September 23 - on the Estonian market, 5 different Business Training Short Courses for hospitality enterprises on a number of key subjects requested by the local business stakeholders will be delivered starting from October.

  • Haaga-Helia Tallinn represented at ENPI cooperation negotiations

    Ain Hinsberg from Haaga-Helia, participated at the cooperation negotiations of the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences held on August 20. The issues discussed were related to the next funding period of the The European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) targeted at the cooperation of Finnish regions with Russia.

    The launching of the Haaga-Helia Hospitality Centre activities on the Estonian market takes place on September 9 with the Haaga-Helia Hospitality Know-How Conference held at the Estonian Business School (EBS) main building (A.Lauteri 3, Tallinn).

  • Association of Estonian Tourism Education visits Finland in study mission

    Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia arranged study visit to Finland for Association of Estonian Tourism Education during October 7–9. HHHCCE also supported the visit by leading the group, done by Maria Velez and Ain Hinsberg. The delegation of 14 visited Haaga-Helia campuses in Porvoo, Pasila and Haaga, Helmi College, Haaga Restaurant School, Haaga-Perho and Edupoli.

  • Garage48 StartUp Pitching welcomes Haaga-Helia in their mentoring team

    ​Haaga-Helia UAS/Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia participated on November 11 at the Garage48 StartUp Pitching event held at the Estonian Tech Startup headquarters in order to prepare the teams participating at the actual event taking place in Pärnu on November 13-15 .

  • Latvia, next in Haaga-Helia's radar?

    ​Ain Hinsberg was invited by the ​Latvian Hotel and Restaurant Association to participate on behalf of Haaga-Helia UAS/Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia. The event was held on November 17th, at the associations annual conference in Riga. Hinsberg's role was to present Haaga-Helia's activities in Estonia and the options for launching some similar ones in Latvia.

  • Estonian Hospitality Insiders Club – Mission Completed!

    Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Centre in Estonia delivered successfully 4 Hospitality Insiders Club events during the pilot study year 2015/16. The same format has been run in Finland by Haaga-Helia for 3 years now successfully. The events – 1-day per club meeting - brings together managers and experts from the hospitality field from all over Estonia.
