Hotel Industry Seminar in November helps in profit-making

Haaga-Helia will organize a Hotel Industry seminar in November together with Estonian Business School (EBS).

"Find the Path for Profit-Making in Lodging Business" seminar gives the top management of hotel business assets to gain insights, knowledge and decision-making tools for customer oriented demand management in order to run more profitable hotels, increase GOP and asset value.

Key note speakers will be CEO Jere Talonen Into Coaching and Consulting Ltd and Dr. Pasi Tuominen from Haaga-Helia.

  • Short courses in Hospitality: Haaga-Helia's top experts share their knowledge in Estonia

    On October 6th Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia opened the delivery of their own short courses, with the first of a 2-day short course in Hospitality Industry Managerial Accounting. It was delivered by the coach Timo Saranpää (M.Sc.(econ.), and assisted by Elisa Aunola and Sven Lööndre. The second day of the course will take place on October 28th.

  • First Short Course by Haaga-Helia in Estonia Finished Successfully

    The opening short course of the Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia training calendar 2015-2016 has been finished successfully – with very positive feedback from the participants and also the coach enjoying the feeling of accomplishment.

    ​The opening period of the short courses by the Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia has been very successful, as the first two courses received very positive feedback from the participants. The coaches also enjoyed the feeling of sharing their know-how with a very eager target group.

  • Lean Management, a key to success

    The Lean Management short course “Lean Management as quality and operations management tool in hospitality” by Jalmari Eklund on February 18th and March 3rd was executed with a great success meaning that the participants, who came to the first day being not aware to the full extent of what Lean is all about, started their second day with great enthusiasm.

  • Haaga-Helia in Estonia Supported Receptionist of the Year 2015 Competition

    On the 7th of October „The Receptionist of the Year 2015“ competition was held in Tallinn at Tallinnhotels Hotel Palace. 13 hotels from Tallinn were represented by their best talents in order to reach the highest prize – becoming the best receptionist in Estonia this year.

  • A Successfully Launched Third Short Course by Haaga-Helia, in Estonia

    After the first two short courses (October 6th and 28th on the subject of Hospitality Industry Managerial Accounting by the Timo Saranpää and November 5th the course „Demand Management for Hospitality Leaders“ by Jere Talonen the short course delivery continued with the first day of the course “Principles and Practices of Hospitality Revenue Management on November 17th delivered by Nina Niemi.

    After the first two short courses (in October "Hospitality Industry Managerial Accounting" by the Timo Saranpää in November „Demand Management for Hospitality Leaders“ by Jere Talonen) the short course delivery continued with the course “Principles and Practices of Hospitality Revenue Management" on November 17th and December 3rd delivered by Nina Niemi.
