Löfbergs Double-Nominated for European Coffee Awards 2025

Swedish-based coffee roaster Löfbergs has been shortlisted in two categories at the upcoming European Coffee & Hospitality Awards 2025: Best European Commercial Coffee Roaster and Most Sustainable Brand. The dual nominations underline the company’s strong position in the European coffee industry.

“This recognition shows that our long-term focus on taste, sustainability and know-how is both noticed and appreciated within the industry. Being nominated in these two categories at the same time is a real honour and an inspiration to continue driving positive change in the coffee sector,” says Anders Fredriksson, CEO of Löfbergs.

The European Coffee & Hospitality Awards are organised by World Coffee Portal, in collaboration with Coffee Ventures Europe. The shortlist is based on the views of more than 6,000 industry leaders across Europe.

Voting is open until 24 October 2025, with the winners set to be announced at the European Coffee Symposium in Berlin on 25 November.

Founded in 1906 and still family-owned, Löfbergs is today one of the largest coffee roasters in the Nordics and a recognised sustainability pioneer in the global coffee community. The company began exporting coffee in 1993, and today around half of its sales are generated outside Sweden.
