Press release -

Mynewsdesk becomes an international newsroom partner of Elephant Parade

Mynewsdesk has become the official newsroom partner of Elephant Parade, providing an all-in-one newsroom and PR platform for its international media distribution and community building.  It will also be a source of access for the many vibrant images of the new parades.

Elephant Parade brings together the worlds of art, charity and business as artists and public figures create designs for full-size elephant statues that colour the places they visit as well as raising awareness of and money for Asian elephant conservation.

Elephant Parade has recently announced three new parades for 2013: Southern California, Luxembourg and a first ever country-wide tour which will last more than 10 months and will visit more than a dozen locations across the UK in England, Scotland and Wales.

This follows 11 successful parades that have been held in major cities around the world - including Amsterdam, Singapore, London, Copenhagen and Milan. Millions have been raised for Asian elephant conservation projects through the sale of the elephants and previous parades have included contributions from top artists and celebrities, including: Paul Smith, Ferrari, Jodie Kidd, Jack Vettriano, Mackenzie Thorpe, Ricky Gervais, Leona Lewis, Tommy Hilfiger, Joss Stone, and Aston Martin.

Commenting on the partnership Mike Spits, Co-Founder of Elephant Parade said: “As a global brand, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring together and manage our international communications distribution from a central platform. Our newsroom will provide a convenient single platform that will give our followers a one-stop shop for the latest news on our various parades and the work of the Asian Elephant Foundation – and in the format people want. With three new parades announced for this year across the UK, US and Luxembourg, it is the perfect time to be teaming up with Mynewsdesk.”

Adam Cranfield, Chief Marketing Officer at Mynewsdesk commented: “We are really excited about our new partnership with Elephant Parade. Not only does their brand embody our pioneering and multi-channel approach to communications but we also really want to get involved in the cause: helping to raise money and awareness for the plight of the Asian elephant.  Mynewsdesk is about getting the story heard, by the right people and through the right channels, and we want to make sure this story is heard.”
