Mynewsdesk bestow the Global PR award at the PR Week Awards

Mynewsdesk’s Head of Agency Relations Heidi Noemm, alongside compère and comedian Graham Norton, handed over the Global PR award to Ogilvy Public Relations & OgilvyOne at the PR Week Awards this Tuesday night.

Heidi Noemm says: "I loved presenting the prestigious Global PR Award to Ogilvy. It was well deserved for The Gnome Experiment with Kern & Sohn, such an innovative and creative campaign, plus it was good to see them rocking it in 3 other categories too!"

(Heidi Noemm matching well with Blair Metcalfe's red hat and Michael Frohlich holding the award).

The runners up for the Global PR award were:

  • Brands2Life with a Remarkable Launch: Nikon Big Hands
  • Fever with a "Room for Thought" (RFT) for American Express
  • Good Relations with The Airbus Concept Cabin
  • Marlin PR From dotcom to dotbrand for Melbourne IT DBS

The ceremony provided some grand dining, excellent entertainment from Graham Norton and quality schmoozing with fellow PR professionals regarding their approach to modern PR.

The PR Week Awards managed to deliver a great PR occassion and proved once again to be the Oscars of the industry.
