Mynewsdesk strengthens Group Management Team with new Chief Sales Officer and Chief Marketing Officer
Mynewsdesk today announces the appointment of Alexander Wallin as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Andreas Hjerpe as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Both appointments took effect on January 1, are internal promotions, and both roles report directly to the CEO.
Alexander Wallin has played a key role in Mynewsdesk’s commercial development for recent years and most recently led the company’s Nordic sales organization. As Chief Sales Officer, reporting to the CEO, he assumes overall responsibility for Mynewsdesk’s sales strategy, new business, customer success and customer growth across the Nordic markets.
“Alexander has demonstrated strong strategic and operational leadership and has been instrumental in driving our recent sales performance. His deep understanding of our customers and markets makes him the right leader to take our sales organization into the next phase,” says Gustav Berghog, CEO of Mynewsdesk.
Andreas Hjerpe has been a driving force behind Mynewsdesk’s marketing and growth initiatives and most recently served as Vice President Marketing. As Chief Marketing Officer, reporting to the CEO, he will be responsible for the company’s overall marketing strategy, brand development, and demand generation.
“Andreas has built a modern, data-driven marketing organization with a clear focus on efficiency and growth. With his leadership, we are further strengthening the connection between marketing, product, and sales,” Gustav Berghog continues.
These appointments are part of Mynewsdesk’s long-term strategy to build a strong, integrated, and scalable organization to support continued growth across the Nordics and beyond.
