New product NAS MODEL L24 is characterized by significantly reduced degradation rate. Improved technology allows customers to save approx. 20% on their investment in NAS battery storage system compared to the previous battery type. NGK INSULATORS, LTD. has successfully raised the maximum operating temperature of its coin-type "EnerCera Coin" (part of the "EnerCera®" series) battery up to 105 degrees Celsius. NGK further announced that it has successfully developed a new high heat resistance type cell that is the world’s first* lithium (Li)-ion secondary battery capable of operating at 85 degrees Celsius.
