Ekologisk semester – ta med hela familjen på ett äventyr till den tjeckiska landsbygden
Eco-friendly holiday – take the whole family on an adventure to the Czech countryside
When it comes to wine trips, the Czech Republic is an obvious holiday destination. The central European country offers exciting wine experiences in combination with fresh air, cycling trips and historic castles - not to mention a great number of award-winning wines. And then there are the special Czech wine harvest with jousting and horseshoe roll - an outstanding experience.
In addition to world-famous beer, the Czech Republic also houses another gourmet treasure - delicious wine. You'll have a chance to enjoy its flavor at the traditional autumn festivities, where by winemakers initiate the annual harvest. Head out to the Czech Republic for the grape harvest festivals and taste young wine and other local specialties.
Anyone who likes wine should visit a traditional vintage at least once in their life. This is the most important time of the year for all wine-makers and is accompanied by lively, if merely symbolic, celebrations – the late and select grapes have not yet been harvested, never mind ice and straw wines.
The Grape Harvest Festival ranks among the most popular social events for wine experts and wine lovers. Celebrations will take place in numerous Czech and Moravian towns and they commence the most beautiful activity on vineyards – collecting grapes, pressing, making of “burčák”/new wine and wine. For the rest of us, it is a great celebration of tasteful drink.
