2026-11-11 Seminar: Climate Adaptation in Forestry – what can we learn from other countries?
Adapting Swedish forestry to the ongoing climate change is urgent. It is important to exchange international ideas, knowledge and experience regarding climate adaptation to safeguard healthy and productive forests for the future. Thus, the KSLA-committee Forest production in a changing climate is inviting you to an international seminar on this theme.
We will start with six presentations that describe scientific and implementation perspectives on climate adaptation from other Scandinavian countries, Central Europe and Canada. After lunch a panel with representatives from Swedish forestry, the Swedish forest agency and nature conservation will reflect on the international presentations and discuss insights relevant for Swedish forestry.
Time & Place
The seminar will be held on 11 November 9.30 am untill 3.30 pm in KSLA, Drottninggatan 95 B in Stockholm or on Zoom.
