Pharem have successfully increased their portfolio of customer related projects, both in the Nordic countries but also internationally. To accelerate these projects Pharem have been granted financing from Nefco.
Of the more than 500 companies from 44 countries that applied to be a part of the AcceliCITY program, Pharem was one of the 50 selected companies that stood out as an exceptional contender. The applicants represent 24 different verticals such as, Internet of Things, AI/Machine Learning, Mobility/Transportation, Urban Agriculture, Smart Health, Smart Water, Security, Environment, to name a few.
Lonza Solutions and Pharem Biotech have started a new water treatment project together. Using Zymatic, Pharem's enzyme treatment technology, the treatment step will be tailored to target and treat various organic compounds in one or more selected process streams.
In connection with the launch of the product pCure on the European market, a partnership with WaterAid is initiated. The purpose of the partnership is that the sales of the company's products will increase the access to clean water in the world's most vulnerable areas. For each product sold, an amount is donated to WaterAid's important work.
The aim of the collaboration between the two companies is to extend the existing technology range for treatment of organic micro-pollutants through Pharem´s modern enzyme technology. The joint focus will primarily be towards wastewater treatment plants (WWTP:s) on the Nordic market.
The water treatment technology, Pharem Filtration System (PFS), has been selected in hard competition by the Dutch knowledge centre STOWA*.
