A Little Party named Bar of the Year 2021
A Little Party opened in Helsingborg last summer. With the world's largest selection of Champagne, they became an instant success in one of Sweden's most bar-dense cities. The Champagne bar, which is part of Radisson Blu Metropol Hotel, has been met with great appreciation from locals and international guests alike. They are now awarded with the Helsingborg Prize 2021 as Bar of the Year.
The prestigious Helsingborg Prize is an annual award conferred by the well-established magazine Nöjesnytt. The prize honors outstanding actors in the city's entertainment and cultural life. This year, the newly opened Champagne bar A Little Party has been named winner in the category “Bar of the Year”. This is the second year in a row that a bar concept at Radisson Blu Metropol Hotel has been awarded this prize.
- There are many renowned restaurants and bars in Helsingborg so naturally it makes us very proud to receive this recognition two years in a row. A Little Party is the result of ongoing efforts to enhance the hospitality experience. By digitalizing and simplifying the check-in process we were able to replace our former front desk area with a Champagne bar to enhance the guest experience and the exclusive feeling at the hotel. This award shows us that we are on the right track, says Michael Lundin, General Manager at Radisson Blu Metropol Hotel, Helsingborg.
A Little Party is fast becoming a world-class Champagne destination, attracting both experienced connoisseurs and curious newcomers. In a relaxed setting, carefully selected Champagnes are served with matching dishes from the French cuisine. The fridges are constantly replenished with everything from the largest Champagne houses to small, exclusive growers with limited production. With over 200 varieties of Champagne by the glass, there is something for everyone.
In addition to the warm atmosphere and the wide selection of Champagne, it is the passionate and competent staff on site that makes A Little Party unique.
- We want to create unique experiences with every bottle we open. Our staff possess a vast knowledge of Champagne and are passionate about sharing that knowledge with every glass served. Our guests often stay for hours tasting a variety of Champagnes along with recommended snacks. We are thrilled to receive the award as Bar of the Year 2021 and the interest in Champagne that we have seen in our first year, says Camilla Niklasson, co-owner of A Little Party.
