The Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, the world’s foremost venue for Scandinavian design, concluded last Saturday. This year's edition bubbled with energy and breathed optimism. Many exhibitors gave positive signals that the economy has turned.

According to a survey performed by Novus on behalf of the Swedish Federation of Wood and Furniture Industry (TMF), six out of ten Swedes are prepared to pay more for furniture that is manufactured under fair working conditions. Three strong Swedish brands will be exhibited for the first time at Formex this spring: artist and designer Carolina Gynning, Odd Molly Homes and interior design company Oscar & Clothilde.
The Formex trade fair, which opens its doors on Wednesday, January 15, is happy to announce this year the participation of the two successful designers, Alexander Lervik and Aurélien Barbry.
