The Sustainability Stand returns to Formex, featuring 17 exhibitors focused on eco-friendly products. Located in Hall A, the stand showcases sustainable design and allows visitors to engage with brands through interactive features. The event runs from August 25-27, 2026.
The area Design Talents at Formex will showcase emerging designers from August 25-27, 2026, at Stockholmsmässan. A jury of industry experts selects participants, with awards and recognition for innovative talent, promoting professional development in interior design.
Stockholm Furniture Fair will return in 2027 with a strengthened focus on business, innovation, and Scandinavian design. The platform will become a biennial event, be shortened to four days, and feature a new innovation area. It will also introduce an open, accessible, and welcoming approach to exhibiting – something that will enable more brands to participate.
Formex, which will be held January 17-20, is the kick-off for the spring season in the interior design industry. Visitors can listen to many interesting speakers, such as one of the world’s leading trend forecasters, Li Edelkoort, and lifestyle trend expert and researcher Mads Arlien-Søborg. This year’s Formex Formidable design award will be presented at Wednesday’s press breakfast.

Almost ten years have passed since the first time he exhibited his work to a large audience in Stockholm. That was at Greenhouse, the arena for new designers that is part of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. Now he’s returning as a well-established designer. Mr. Oki Sato, founder of the Nendo design studio, has been named as the tenth Guest of Honor at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2013.
