The program by MOIN Film Fund, the German Federal Film Board (FFA) and the Five Nordics is thereby entering the screenplay phase – the three best projects will be announced during the Cannes Film Festival.
CPH:DOX is one of the world’s most important documentary film festivals, where Swedish productions continue to maintain a strong presence. Tonight, all winners of the 2026 Guldbagge Awards were announced at Cirkus in Stockholm. Tarik Saleh’s Eagles of the Republic, which premiered in the Cannes main competition, was named Best film and emerged as the evening’s biggest winner, taking home six Guldbagge awards in total.
