Tengai awarded "Best Newcomer" at the NORAs 2019 in London
On Wednesday November 13th, Tengai received the award for “Best Newcomer” at the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORA) 2019 in London. Tengai was nominated out of 20 000 submissions for the “Best Newcomer” and “Best Innovation” categories.
NORA was founded to acknowledge and reward excellence in online recruitment practices from the perspective of the job seeker.
This year, over 20 000 recruitment website were submitted for nomination. All submissions were analyzed by Shortlisting Judges and five finalists were selected for each category. The finalists were primarily judged from a job seeker’s perspective. Tengai was nominated in two categories, "Best newcomer" and "Best Innovation".
The other nominees were: Metaview Ai, Neuvoo, Recruitd, CV-Library, GIGL, Newcros Healthcare, and SonicJobs.

The NORAs are established as a standard for accessing recruitment websites. They highlight excellence within the UK recruitment Industry. The awards cover the wide range of online players in the sector, including Job Boards, Recruitment Agencies, Employers, Career Advice websites, Trade and National Publications. In addition, they have an award for Best Newcomer and Innovation in this continually developing sector.

Tengai's Job Interview Mitigates Unconscious Bias
Tengai AB is a recently incorporated HR Tech startup in Stockholm, Sweden that is utilizing artificial intelligence and an unbiased recruitment methodology in interview robot Tengai, developed in partnership with social robotics pioneer Furhat Robotics.
The social AI-robot is enhancing the candidate experience, freeing up time and helping recruiters and hiring managers in making objective hiring decisions.
