  • Arla Foods sweeps the board at the Global Cheese Show picking up 52 awards

    Arla Foods creameries have been rewarded for the outstanding cheeses they produce, this time at the Global Cheese Awards. Arla Food’s creameries, including Taw Valley, Lockerbie, Llandrynog, Tuxford & Tebbutt, Trevarrian and produce from Denmark, successfully walked away with an incredible 52 awards between them and the Taw Valley creamery was also crowned 2014 Danisco Grand Prix Champion.

    The Arla Foods amba on-account price will reduce by €2 cents per kg with effect from 29 September 2014.

The Castello® Pop Up shop has arrived in Commercial Street in London for a seven week tenure to build on the success of the brand in the UK, and boost awareness and appreciation of Castello® cheese among UK consumers.

  • Arla makes non-binding bid for Egyptian dairy

    Arla is making a non-binding bid for all shares in Arab Dairy Products Company, a listed company based near Cairo. If the company is found to be sound and healthy, Arla looks set to become one of the top five or six players in the Egyptian dairy sector.

    Arla Foods amba is reducing its owner on-account price by €1.5 cents per kg, with effect from 1 September 2014.

  • Arla appoints new head of Danish business

    Tomas Pietrangeli has been appointed as the new head of Arla Denmark. He is moving from his role as Managing Director at Reckitt Benckiser and will join Arla Arla later this year.
