1.) Stop comparing yourselves to others

Most people share the same detrimental trait; they constantly compare themselves to others (helped with the rise of social media). In doing so, you jeopardise the chance of success in anything, not just business. To accomplish dreams and goals you must forget about the rest, and focus on yourself. Focus all efforts on the pursuit of your end goal.

Being envious, constantly comparing and competing with others is not healthy mentally but it's also very detrimental within a business capacity. Stay in your own lane and focus on where you want to go, no matter how long it takes.

2.) Don't just talk about it, do it!

The saying “actions speak louder than words” is more than just a saying. If you want people to take you and your goals seriously, you must demonstrate your will and determination in your actions. It's all well and good telling people what you want to achieve, but if you don’t implement a strategy of getting there, people will take you with a pinch of salt.

3.) Blockout the naysayers, haters or detractors

Over time you will encounter many that will doubt you and try to stop you from achieving your goals, you should be concerned if these people aren’t trying to bring you down. It's incredibly important never to let negative feedback deter you from your end goal. Nobody can stop you from achieving, other than yourself.
