Tom Harris of London Sales Execs talks recruiting the next sales superstar at Industry Conference

On Sunday June 3rd, Tom Harris of London Sales Execs gave a speech to a room full of aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners, talking about what it takes to recruit the next sales superstar.

The recipient of the 2018 UK Business Owner of the Year, Mr Harris knows what it takes to recruit and develop talented individuals, and at an industry conference he shared his expertise with a room full of eager to learn aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners.

Mr Harris was said to be delighted when he received the invitation to speak at the event, as he relishes the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience to help like-minded professionals learn, grow and develop.

The conference is a quarterly event which is designed to bring together sales and marketing professionals from all over the UK to provide them with information they can apply to progress their business career.

The event was held at the 4-Star Novotel London West which is conveniently located just minutes from three of London’s main tube lines, making it easy to get to for delegates.

The conference commenced at 10:30 a.m. to an exciting start, with some industry promotions followed by a seminar on the business opportunities in the industry.After the introductory session, delegates were separated into two separate sections based on career level. London Sales Execs director, Mr Harris was invited to give a speech to the industry professionals at a pivotal stage in their business development. The business coach and mentor was one of seven guest speakers at the event, who each discussed a topic they specialise in.

Mr Harris addressed delegates on the topic of recruitment, and what it takes to recruit and train the next sales superstar. During his speech, Mr Harris expanded on the following points;

  • A company is only as good as the people within it
  • How London Sales Execs offer people something they can’t get elsewhere
  • The need to be passionate about delivering the message
  • The importance of ensuring that people understand that London Sales Execs are looking for people to help take their business forward and that the entry level isn’t a long-term role
