World of Volvo Fills Early Summer and Summer with Music, Experiences and Activities for the Whole Family

Following an eventful start to the year, World of Volvo continues to establish itself as a vibrant meeting place in Gothenburg. Throughout early summer and summer, visitors can look forward to a diverse programme of concerts, family activities, guided tours, and new evening experiences at Ceno Brasserie.

Music and Culture in Collaboration with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra

World of Volvo continues its appreciated collaboration with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. On May 30, visitors are invited to Classical Gems – a concert featuring selected works by composers such as Mozart, Handel, and Bach, alongside timeless classical favorites in an inspiring setting.

June Filled with Choir Performances and Young Musical Talents

The music programme continues throughout June with several summery performances:

• June 7 – “Fullfjädrad” Summer Concert featuring the Swedish Chamber Choir and Ava Bahari. Together they will perform one of the most beloved classical masterpieces – Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending, a breathtakingly beautiful piece inspired by the skylark soaring and singing in the sky.
• June 15 – Side by Side – Youth Choir presents choral performances with a summery atmosphere and international flair.

Classic Vehicles and Car Culture at Lindholmen

On May 30–31, World of Volvo will once again participate with a unique World of Volvo area during the Gothenburg Classic Car Weekend – a celebration of classic vehicles, cultural heritage, and automotive passion at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.

Friday After-Work – Boule, beats & bubbles at Ceno

During Friday evenings in June, Ceno invites guests to enjoy the summer evening concept Boule, beats & bubbles. Visitors can relax in a laid-back atmosphere featuring boule, spectacular views and seasonal offers on drinks and snacks.

Popular Traffic School for Children Opens for the Summer

Starting June 15, World of Volvo’s popular children’s traffic school will be open daily throughout the summer. Here, younger visitors can discover traffic, movement, and safety in a playful and engaging way.

Guided Tours of the Exhibition

For visitors interested in exploring the Volvo story in greater depth, guided tours of the exhibition are available every Tuesday and Thursday. The tours provide a closer look at the innovations, design, and people behind the brand.
