World of Volvo Opens Traffic School for Children – A Playful Experience Focused on Road Safety
World of Volvo is expanding with an all-new experience: Traffic School, an outdoor driving track where children aged sju to twelve can drive electric Volvo cars and trucks in a realistic traffic environment. In a playful and educational way, children will learn the basics of traffic safety – and even get the chance to earn their very first “driver’s license.”

On 26–27 April 2025, GotGuitars, the Nordic region’s premier guitar fair, returns to welcome music enthusiasts from across the country. A week filled with playful, exciting and educational family activities – all completely free of charge. New exhibition at World of Volvo: How architecture is redefining sustainability
From the 6th of December to the 28th of February, World of Volvo presents “Changing Our Footprint” – an exhibition by Henning Larsen. The exhibition presents an inspiring architectural journey of how to change our foot-print – in small, but scalable steps – through built projects, ongoing research, testing, learning from mistakes, and inviting to a dialogue.

The audience favorite from last year is back: Gothenburg's Lucia Parade returns to Avenyn
Last year, 5,000 people gathered on Avenyn, and now it's time again! On Friday, December 13, World of Volvo, Göteborgs Lucia, and Avenyföreningen will host this year’s edition of Gothenburg's Lucia Parade. The success from last year will once again light up Avenyn, culminating in a heartwarming concert at Götaplatsen, performed by Göteborgs Lucia and over 150 choir members.

Free Autumn Fun at World of Volvo
The autumn break is approaching, and the concept Family Fun – which attracted hundreds of families during the summer – is now returning to World of Volvo, this time with an autumn twist. Experience autumn break fun where the entire family can explore, learn, and play through dance, music, and crafts. Family Fun is open from October 28-29 and November 1-3 with all activities offered free of charge.
