    Umicore and emergency services have successfully conducted an training to optimize cooperation in the event of a chemical leaking. The Malteser service participated for the first time. The focus is on safety management and local cooperation to ensure efficient emergency response measures.

  • Joint activity organized by Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH: Brewery tour at Hirschbrauerei Heubach delights employees

    As part of the regular “joint activity” organized by Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH, a private brewery tour was offered at Hirschbrauerei Heubach last Thursday evening. Thomas Mayer, member of the Hirschbrauerei management team, personally guided the participants through the brewery's production areas, warehouse, and cellars in a competent and friendly manner.

    Thomas Mayer gave the Umicore participants an explanation of the effort that goes into producing a good local beer.
