Die Aroundtown Foundation hat das diesjährige Sommerfest der Alfred-Brehm-Grundschule und ihres Fördervereins aus Berlin-Tegel mit finanziellen Mitteln unterstützt. Dabei kommt die Hilfe der Stiftung gezielt in der Nähe zum deutschen Hauptsitz von Aroundtown an; ganz im Sinne des Stiftungszwecks für Projekte und Institutionen im nachbarschaftlichen Umfeld des Portfolios.
Mit dieser Spende konnte die Schule gemeinsam mit Kindern, Eltern und Lehrern das laufende Schuljahr gebührend ausklingen lassen und in die wohl verdienten Sommerferien starten. Das letzte Sommerfest wurde 2018 gefeiert, weshalb alle Mitwirkenden auf das anstehende Fest hin gefiebert hatten und sich einiges einfallen ließen: Eine Hüpfburg, ein Glücksrad, Aktivitätenstände mit Mini-Golf und Ballwerfen, die von einzelnen Schulklassen organisiert wurden, die Besichtigung des Schulgartens oder auch eine Tattoo-Station, die Jung und Alt in Anspruch nahmen. Auch für das leibliche Wohl wurde gesorgt und dem heißen Sommertag mit kühlen Getränken entgegengewirkt.
„Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei der Aroundtown Foundation für die großzügige Spende. Das Sommerfest war ein voller Erfolg. Wir haben viel gelacht und das in ganz entspannter Atmosphäre. Aroundtown Foundation supports summer party of Alfred-Brehm-Grundschule e.V. in Berlin-Tegel
The Aroundtown Foundation has provided financial support for this year's summer party of the Alfred-Brehm-Grundschule and its foundation in Berlin-Tegel. In this way, the Foundation's help is targeted at the vicinity of Aroundtown's German headquarters; in keeping with the Foundation's purpose for projects and institutions in the neighborhoods surrounding the portfolio.
With this donation, the school, together with the children, parents and teachers, was able to celebrate the end of the school year and start the well-deserved summer vacation. The last summer event was held in 2018, so everyone was eagerly anticipating the upcoming celebration and came up with some great ideas: a bouncy castle, a wheel of fortune, activity booths with mini golf and ball throwing organized by individual classes, a tour of the school garden, or even a tattoo station that was enjoyed by young and old alike. Food was also provided and the hot summer day was countered with cool drinks.
"We would like to thank the Aroundtown Foundation for their generous donation. The summer party was a great success. We had a lot of fun in a very relaxed atmosphere. A successful end to the school year," summarizes Sarina Waldner from the Alfred Brehm Grundschule.
