Aroundtown Foundation finanziert zwei Schulstipendien im Ausland
Die Aroundtown Foundation spendet der Kreuzberger Kinderstiftung in Berlin, die sich für Bildungsgerechtigkeit und jugendliches Engagement einsetzt. Die finanziellen Mittel fließen in ein ganz konkretes Projekt: Mit „Erlebe die Welt" sollen Schülerinnen und Schüler im Alter zwischen 16 und 18 Jahren ein Schuljahr im Ausland verbringen können. Zielgruppe sind Jugendliche, die in der Regel nicht an Auslandsprogrammen teilnehmen können. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, sich auf ein Stipendium der Kreuzberger Kinderstiftung zu bewerben.
Die Aroundtown Foundation übernimmt die Kosten für zwei Stipendien für das Austauschjahr 2023 und unterstützt somit ganz gezielt Bildung und Entwicklung.
Ein Schuljahr im Ausland fördert die Persönlichkeitsentwicklung der Schüler:innen. Sie werden dadurch selbstbewusster, selbstständiger und auch konfliktfähiger. Die Vermittlung von interkultureller Kompetenz sowie das Interesse an globalen Zusammenhängen und das Erlernen von Fremdsprachen sind dabei essenziell und werden beinahe automatisch erlernt.

Die Aroundtown Foundation wurde 2018 gegründet. Die Stiftung übernimmt gesellschaftliche Verantwortung und setzt sich gezielt und pragmatisch für Projekte und Institutionen im nachbarschaftlichen Umfeld des Portfolios ein. Aroundtown Foundation funds two school scholarships abroad
The Aroundtown Foundation is making a donation to the Kreuzberg Children's Foundation in Berlin, which is committed to educational equality and youth engagement. The funds will be used for a very specific project: "Experience the World" will enable students between the ages of 16 and 18 to spend a school year abroad. The target group is young people who are not usually able to take part in programs abroad. They have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship from the Kreuzberg Children's Foundation.
The Aroundtown Foundation will cover the costs of two scholarships for the exchange year 2023 and thus support education and development in a very targeted way.
A school year abroad promotes the personal development of the students. They become more self-confident, more independent and also more capable of dealing with conflicts. The teaching of intercultural skills and interest in global contexts and the learning of foreign languages are essential and are learned almost automatically.
