Gesundes Essen für 500 Kinder und Jugendliche: Spende der Aroundtown Foundation an die Arche Kinderstiftung
Die Aroundtown Foundation übernimmt auch indirekt Verantwortung für Kinder und Jugendliche in Berlin und unterstützt konkret und pragmatisch im nachbarschaftlichen Umfeld des Unternehmensportfolios. So spendet die Stiftung bereits zum wiederholten Mal an „Die Arche“ Kinderstiftung Geld für Lebensmittel. Damit erhalten bis zu 500 Kinder und Jugendliche in Berlin eine gesunde Mahlzeit und lernen gleichzeitig in den angebotenen Kochkursen einen bewussten Umgang mit Essen und gesundem Kochen.
Die Arche Kinderstiftung engagiert sich insbesondere für Kinder aus sozial schwachen Verhältnissen und im Kampf gegen Kinderarmut in Deutschland. Gegründet in Berlin-Hellersdorf, gibt es inzwischen bundesweit rund 30 Standorte, an denen mehr als 5.000 Kinder und Jugendliche erreicht werden.
Die Arbeit mit Kindern, Jugendlichen und Familien umfasst unter anderem kostenlose Mahlzeiten, eine pädagogische Förderung, sinnvolle Freizeitgestaltung sowie Hilfe und Beratung für Eltern. Umgesetzt und miteinander verknüpft werden diese Themen zum Beispiel durch Kochkurse. Damit erhalten die Kinder und Jugendlichen gleichzeitig kostenlos vollwertige und ausgewogene Mahlzeiten. In der Gemeinschaft erlernen die Kinder und Jugendlichen so einen wertschätzenden Umgang mit Essen und üben bewährte Umgangsformen bei Tisch.
Über die Aroundtown Foundation
Die Aroundtown Foundation wurde 2018 gegründet. Die Stiftung übernimmt gesellschaftliche Verantwortung und setzt sich gezielt und pragmatisch für Projekte und Institutionen im nachbarschaftlichen Umfeld des Portfolios ein. Healthy food for 500 children and young people: Donation of the Aroundtown Foundation to Arche Kinderstiftung
