Grand Hôtel Stockholm Captures Life’s Encounters in This Year’s Cocktail Menu, Interactions
With this year’s cocktail menu, Cadierbaren at Grand Hôtel Stockholm invites guests on a journey through life’s many encounters. Interactions is a tribute to the moments that unfold between people – from the initial nervousness of meeting someone new, to the passion of a tearful farewell at the airport or the weight of a business handshake. Through everything from flavor and form to presentation and service, Cadierbaren captures the full spectrum of human connection in this year’s cocktail menu.
When Grand Hôtel Stockholm presents its annual cocktail menu, Cadierbaren transforms into a stage where both the grand and subtle moments of human life take center stage. Anton Windmar, Bar Manager at Cadierbaren, shares the thoughts behind the concept:
“In creating Interactions, we drew inspiration from everything we witness here at Cadierbaren every day – from a first meeting or a spontaneous conversation between strangers to love at first sight or a business handshake. We wanted to turn these moments into flavor experiences, where each serving becomes an encounter in itself – a kind of dialogue between guest and bartender, where timing, presentation, and interaction together create the moment that makes each cocktail unique. It’s our most emotional – and possibly our most refined – menu yet.”
Interactions is accompanied by black-and-white sketches – like pages from a forgotten sketchbook – capturing the many meetings and moods that fill Cadierbaren. Each cocktail symbolizes an interaction, where taste, scent, movement, and presentation intertwine to create unique experiences: from the drama of lifting a cloche in Service!, to the drops of saltwater with the same salinity as real tears served in Tears at the Airport. This year’s menu also features Love at First Sight, filled with aphrodisiac ingredients that make it impossible to put down, and The Firm Handshake, a powerful tribute to the meetings and business decisions that have taken place at Cadierbaren over the years.
This year, every cocktail order begins with a non-alcoholic welcome serve – a palate cleanser that sets the tone for the evening. This internationally inspired gesture sets the tone for the evening and reflects Cadierbaren’s ambition to deliver a first-class guest experience from start to finish.
“At Grand Hôtel, we constantly strive to evolve the guest experience and find new ways to surprise. Interactions showcases how creativity, precision, and genuine hospitality come together in Cadierbaren. The menu reflects the dedication and professionalism of our entire bar team, and how their craftsmanship creates experiences that stay with guests long after their visit. It’s that sense of care and connection in every encounter that makes Cadierbaren truly special”, says Karl Persson, Food & Beverage Manager at Grand Hôtel Stockholm.
Interactions launches on November 4, 2025, and has been created by the Cadierbaren bar team, led by Bar Manager Anton Windmar, who has been part of Grand Hôtel Stockholm and Cadierbaren since October 2021.
