Western Estonia's Tourism Conference features Haaga-Helia as a guest

Haaga-Helia UAS/Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia participated on November 26 at the IV Western Estonia's Annual Regional Tourism Conference held in Haapsalu on November 25-26th.

Beside following the presentations on family tourism and mixing and mingling with the (inter)national and regional tourism stakeholders, Sven Lööndre and Ain Hinsberg also distributed information materials of Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia, and shared information about the ongoing Haaga-Helia activities and plans in Estonia.

    ​Ain Hinsberg was invited by the ​Latvian Hotel and Restaurant Association to participate on behalf of Haaga-Helia UAS/Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia. The event was held on November 17th, at the associations annual conference in Riga. Hinsberg's role was to present Haaga-Helia's activities in Estonia and the options for launching some similar ones in Latvia.

    ​The 16th Tallinn FoodFair (TFF) - an internationally recognized source of trade opportunities for food-related industries - from hotels, restaurants and catering services to retailers, importers, producers – was held in Tallinn on October 28-30.

  • Association of Estonian Tourism Education visits Finland in study mission

    Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia arranged study visit to Finland for Association of Estonian Tourism Education during October 7–9. HHHCCE also supported the visit by leading the group, done by Maria Velez and Ain Hinsberg. The delegation of 14 visited Haaga-Helia campuses in Porvoo, Pasila and Haaga, Helmi College, Haaga Restaurant School, Haaga-Perho and Edupoli.

  • Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Center in Estonia participated at X National Tourism Conference

    Sven Lööndre and Ain Hinsberg were invited by the organizers - Estonian Travel and Tourism Association and Enterprise Estonia/Estonian Tourist Board - to participate at the traditional national tourism conference in Estonia held for the 10th time. This time the event was held in Pärnu on September 17-18 at the newly re-opened Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa conference center.

    Haaga-Helia Hospitality Competence Centre in Estonia / Haaga-Helia UAS has become a member of the Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association as of today. The Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association is a representative organisation of employers that is public, voluntary and operates on democratic principles. The Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association was established on 12 February 1992.

  • Haaga-Helia Tallinn represented at ENPI cooperation negotiations

    Ain Hinsberg from Haaga-Helia, participated at the cooperation negotiations of the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences held on August 20. The issues discussed were related to the next funding period of the The European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) targeted at the cooperation of Finnish regions with Russia.
