Motosumo’s #TrainForMovember campaign raises $2,366 for men’s health, with global community pedaling 142,006 kilometers

Copenhagen, November 13, 2024 – Motosumo’s #TrainForMovember campaign, the latest Cycle For Change series initiative, concluded after a remarkable week of cycling dedicated to men’s health. From November 4-10, 2024, participants worldwide, including the Fitness On Demand community, pedaled an incredible 142,006 kilometers collectively, logging 5,213 hours in the saddle to support the Movember Foundation’s mission. The campaign - this time with support from Motosumo's platform partner Fitness On Demand - raised $2,366 for the Foundation, promoting awareness of mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.

Kresten Juel Jensen, CEO of Motosumo, shared: “The #TrainForMovember campaign reflects the power of fitness to make a real impact beyond the gym. Our community’s commitment to men’s health has been truly inspiring. Cycling thousands of kilometers shows we can contribute to making a positive difference in men’s lives together.”

Supporting men’s health globally

The funds raised from the #TrainForMovember campaign will support the Movember Foundation’s work to improve health outcomes for men worldwide, funding initiatives across mental health, cancer prevention, and early intervention. The Movember Foundation’s comprehensive approach to men’s health aligns closely with Motosumo’s commitment to community well-being.

“We’re inspired by the incredible dedication shown by Motosumo’s community in cycling over 142,000 kilometers and raising $2,366 to help fund our lifesaving research. Thanks to Motosumo and Fitness On Demand, we’re shining a light on the issues impacting men’s health and making meaningful strides toward a healthier future for men everywhere,"
said Anna Tutt, Fundraising Executive, Movember Europe.

Fitness On Demand, key donation partner in the campaign, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. Nick Gustafson, Marketing Director at Fitness On Demand, stated: “Partnering with Motosumo on #TrainForMovember allowed us to support a cause essential for global health. We’re proud to help bring men’s health awareness to the forefront, encouraging wellness and proactive health steps worldwide.”
