Silva launches the Seek 450 Recharge: Compact power for every adventure

Whether it’s a late-night dog walk, a pre-dawn trek, or a summit push ahead of sunrise, the right light can make all the difference. Swedish heritage brand Silva - the company behind the world’s first liquid-filled compass - is now shining a new light on everyday and extreme adventures with the launch of the Seek 450 Recharge headlamp.

Delivering a powerful 450 lumens from a compact, pocket-sized design, the Seek 450 Recharge combines performance, sustainability, and comfort. Built from recycled materials, it features Silva’s signature Intelligent Light technology - pairing a long-reach spotlight with a close floodlight for better vision and balance.

This isn’t just a new headlamp - it’s a response to how people are living and moving outdoors today. With its integrated, rechargeable USB-C battery, three brightness levels, red night vision mode, and a super-low 10-lumen setting for extended burn time, the Seek 450 is designed to keep up with daily routines as well as more demanding adventures.

The detachable, rounded lamp unit allows it to be clipped to other equipment, while the slim 25mm headband ensures a secure and comfortable fit. Water-resistant to IPX5 standards, it’s reliable in rain, wind, and unpredictable conditions - so you can keep seeking, whatever the forecast.

Since 1933, Silva has been developing pioneering outdoor equipment - from its first liquid-filled compass to its market-leading headlamps, running vests, and binoculars. The Seek 450 Recharge continues that legacy: a reliable tool for those who embrace both the everyday and the extreme.

Mattias Jacobsson, R&D Manager at Silva, said, "The Seek 450 Recharge reflects how people want to explore outdoors today - lightweight, versatile and sustainable. Whether it’s clipped to a backpack for a mountain climb or kept by the door for an evening walk, it’s built to be the go-to companion for all kinds of adventures.”
