Swedish concept and design agency Stylt has won Gold at the 2025 Muse Design Awards in New York, in the category Best Interior Design – Hotels & Resorts, for its work on Quality Hotel The Reef in Frederikshavn, Denmark.
Swedish design agency, Stylt, and Niehku Mountain Villa, was yesterday awarded the UNESCO Prix Versailles for the word’s best hotel design. The small Lapland venue fought off stiff competition from rivals in Oman, Brazil, Malaysia, the USA and China. Niehku is the first Scandinavian entry to win the UNESCO award.
Swedish design agency Stylt wins the 2019 UNESCO Prix Versailles for Europe’s best hotel interior design. The award goes to Niehku Mountain Villa in the small village Riksgränsen in northern Sweden. As a continental winner, Stylt’s project is automatically nominated to compete for the World Title.
Carl-Henrik Lagnefors is the new CEO for the award-winning design and concept agency, Stylt Trampoli. With a past from the interior as well as the advertising world, he will lead Stylt's work in the global hospitality marketplace.
Award winning Swedish design and concept agency, Stylt, has broken all their previous competition records. The Gothenburg based company has received no less than 17 nominations in five of the world’s most prominent hotel and restaurant design competitions for 2018.
It was a double gold for Stylt this week when the prestigious AHEAD in London met to decide the winners of the outstanding new hotel experience in Europe this year. There was tough competition, but the Swedish design agency won two of the 14 categories.

Hotel Spedition in Switzerland, designed by the Swedish concept agency Stylt Trampoli, has won UNESCO’s architecture prize Prix Versailles for its interiors. The hotel is also nominated for the global hotel award.
Swedish concept and design agency Stylt Trampoli has created HUUS Hotel in Gstaad, a hotel that invites guests to an outdoor adventure by letting nature into the design.
No fewer than six of Stylt Trampoli’s projects from last year have been nominated for the International Hotel & Property Awards 2017.
