Pre-interview done in 10 minutes with improved AI-screening software

The application and screening phase of a recruitment process can be a frustrating experience for candidates, who often are expected to complete long logic tests without getting any feedback. Now Tengai is releasing a quicker and more engaging version of the AI screening interview. Giving HR professionals a tool to pre-interview all applicants in an efficient way and create a more personalized and engaging candidate experience.

STOCKHOLM, October 3, 2023 - Tengai AB is releasing an updated version of the structured interview driven by AI that can be modified based on specific hiring needs. The improved version of the screening interview includes a new user interface, that guides candidates through a 10-minute screening interview in a more intuitive way. Combining an open conversation with interactive questions, which includes giving candidates the option to choose between multiple options, switch over to chat, select Yes/No answers, and rate answers to create a more dynamic experience. The updated conversation also makes it possible to pause the interview, which allows candidates flexibility to return to the interview at a time that suits them the best.

As the labor market is going through a significant shift, recruiters are facing unprecedented challenges. As job-seekers take center stage, the role of recruiters is evolving rapidly. In addition to their traditional responsibilities, recruiters now encounter growing demands for a compelling candidate experience that combines efficiency with engagement. With the ongoing recession and unemployment rising, there is also an increasing flow of applicants which is leading to an overwhelming amount of candidates for recruiters to handle. According to Tengai’s CEO Elin Öbert Mårtenzon is the improved AI interview updated with features to keep all applicants engaged throughout the screening process.

“We are constantly talking to candidates and clients about what they want, how they experience our process, and what their needs are to better understand how to improve Tengai. What we learned is that candidates want shorter and more personal screening processes. As a result of this feedback, we are now releasing a quicker, more engaging, and adaptable AI screening interview that is empowering candidates to have the screening conversation on their own terms.”

With the new update, HR professionals can try a demo interview and have a conversation with the AI avatar to better understand the candidate's experience.
